·        How do I become CBAP certified?

JK Michaels certificate:

    • Score a minimum of 60% marks in the 4th simulation exam

IIBA CBAP certificate:

  1. Fulfill all the eligibility requirements specified by IIBA
    1. Take the JK Michaels course and gain 24 PDs required to appear for the exam.
    2. Submit application for CBAP exam. Application fee is $125, which is non-refundable. JK Michaels helps you in application filing process and also makes sure that all the eligibility requirements are fulfilled
    3. Applications are then screened by IIBA to check if all the requirements are fulfilled
    4. If your application is accepted, register for CBAP® exam with the official testing agency. Exam fee is $325 for IIBA members and $450 for non-members
    5. JK Michaels end of chapter quiz & simulation exams help you get familiar with the questions which you might face in the CBAP exam
    • Take the exam as per your schedule

Note- If the CBAP® exam is passed, the applicant is granted Certification and may use the designation of “Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®)”

What are the prerequisites for the certification?

  • Minimum 7500 hours of BA work experience aligned with A Guide to the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) in the last 10 years
  • Minimum 900 hours in four of the six knowledge areas
  • Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the past four years
  • Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional-CBAP® recipient
  • Signed Code of Conduct

  • CBAP® exam is based on the tasks and techniques in the BABOK®. The questions comprise of some knowledge and fact based questions and situational questions. The situational questions will test your ability to apply the BABOK® information in real life.CBAP® exams consist of 150 multiple choice questions.
