Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) program is the leading credential for certifying the knowledge, skills and abilities of maintenance, reliability and physical asset management professionals.
Lower revenues due to lower commodity prices have placed equipment life-cycle costs under the management spotlight like never before. Certified maintenance and reliability professionals are faced with the challenge to deliver the same levels of equipment safety, reliability and availability with smaller budgets. This Certified maintenance and reliability professional training course introduces the practical tools and practices that organisations need to adopt to drive down their equipment life-cycle costs in practical ways.
The Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional designation is the premier professional certification in the maintenance and reliability field. It is recognized throughout the world as evidence of superior understanding and capability. As such, it is pursued by large numbers of individuals, with well over a thousand exams being taken annually. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional(CMRP) status is often required in order to obtain employment or to advance in a career in the profession. The CMRP program and exam are designed to gauge competence in a number of areas relevant to maintenance and reliability. The body of knowledge upon which the program is based comprehensively addresses and examines equipment reliability and maintenance (R & M) as well as overall asset management, “people skills”, and technical skills, as opposed to other programs that deal strictly with the technical aspects of R & M.
This JK Michaels Certified Maintenance and Reliability professional course emphasizes the most effective strategies, policies, tactics and practices that are needed to ensure the reliability, integrity and durability of the physical assets through their life-cycle.
The Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional(CMRP) is the only certification program of its kind accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which follows the globally-recognized ISO standards for its accreditation purposes. The test is a thorough examination of a broad scope of expertise measured against the universal standard. It was developed to assess professionals’ aptitude within the five pillars of the SMRP Body of Knowledge (BoK), which include: Business & Management, Equipment Reliability, Manufacturing Process Reliability, Organization & Leadership, and Work Management.
